2023-26. My first long-term photo project focused on the Jersey Shore during the 1980s. I would travel up and down the coast from Sandy Hook to Cape May photographing the unique seaside architecture. It was 40 years before turning my camera to the coast again. This time it was in Maine.

Coastal Maine has a mystical energy that is apparent to anyone who has spent time here. It has ignited the creative spirit of generations of artists. A place of constant change, harmony and conflict, striking beauty, and the exchange of both giving and taking away. This project is an exploration of this paradoxical landscape, the language of color, and the rhythmic beat of our planet.
